I taught English in Upper Secondary School in Malaysia until I retired in 2003. I combine my passion for painting with love for storytelling to write and publish colouring books with story, for children learning to read.
I paint in watercolour and oil. A few of the watercolour paintings were used to design the cards. The flowers are local. I have included the botanical name for each. It's nice to know the name of the flowers.

It is thrilling to think of the prospect of being able to contact old friends and relations and to communicate - I don't call it 'blog' - to get family and friends to see what we have and to read what we want to say. It promises to be an exciting time in renewing relationships and getting acquainted with the children and children's children of friends and relations.
I shall be updating and including new thoughts on my 'my thoughts' page and adding new paintings to the art gallery. Do continue to keep in touch. I appreciate your visits. And am so thankful for all of you who have written to me. I am being overwhelmed (if it is possible to be continuously overwhelmed, that's what I am) every day with your responses. There seems to be at least two new messages in the mail related to the website, every day. Praise the Lord. If I had a few doubts about whether I was doing the right thing, they have been banished.
